…Let us come before the LORD with thanksgiving, and extol him with music and song!
Psalm 95:2
Visual & Performing Arts

From Preschool through 12th grade, Heritage Christian School encourages creative expression in our student body. Visual and performing arts are a vibrant, creative, and essential part of our school curriculum.
Elementary students participate in formal art classes taught by a specialist teacher weekly. Junior high and high school students have the opportunity to select, as an elective, Art and Art History. All students explore and express themselves through many mediums and styles. Student work is prominently exhibited throughout the school. HCS is blessed to have a former Disney Studios Artist as our art instructor.
In addition to art, students are given the opportunity to take center stage in a yearly performance on both campuses. This performance is based on popular musicals and is adapted to provide a Christian message. In addition, music taught within the classroom provides for several grade-level performances throughout the year as well as a talent show where students can entertain parents and the community while showcasing their musical gifts.
